Rules of roulette

Roulette is a game of chance played with a wheel and a table. A roulette table consists of 37 boxes numbered 0 to 36. The boxes are alternately coloured red and black, except for the 0, which is green. Players place their bets on the desired number or colour on the table. You can bet on a number, a colour or a series of numbers. The roulette wheel is spun when all of the players have placed their bets.

Winning at roulette

Betting on one number wins you 35 times your stake if the ball lands on your chosen number.

Betting on two numbers will win you 17 times your stake if the ball lands on one of your chosen numbers.

Betting on three numbers wins you 11 times your stake if the ball lands on one of your chosen numbers.

Betting on four numbers wins you 8 times your stake if the ball lands on one of your chosen numbers.

Betting on six numbers wins you 5 times your stake if the ball lands on one of your chosen numbers.

Betting on 12 numbers wins you twice your stake if the ball lands on one of your chosen numbers.

Outside bets (Black-Red-Odd-Even-High-Low) win you the value of your stake (even money) for a winning roll.

How to play roulette

Before each spin of the wheel, the croupier invites the players to bet by saying “Place your bets”.

All of the players place their bets. Once all of the bets have been placed, the croupier says “No more bets” and spins the wheel. The only thing left to do is to trust your luck before pocketing your winning!
